Hi There Its Only Me Your Friendly District Scout Leader.

 

Hi Folks, its another year over and a new one just begun, (you could use those words in a song). To end the Centenary Year the District Scouts had a GoKarting Grand Prix in Crawley, (whose idea was it to start at 05-50 in the morning, oh yes that’s right it was mine). We had 17 Scouts & 8 Leaders taking part on the day, we all had a very good time and everyone enjoyed themselves, well done to the scouts who won medals, and by the way who did win out of the adults? Oh yes that was me.

 I must thank all the scouts and leaders for taking part and getting up so early but it was well worth it. Here is a photo of the medal winners.

 

 

I hope you all had a great Scouting Centenary Year and a good Christmas and are looking forward to another fun packed year of scouting activities, we are planning plenty of District Scout activities this year including a skills camp, football competition & a pioneering day to mention a few, so watch this District web site for more info.
