Hi There Its Only Me Your Friendly District Scouter

Hi folks, here I am with a report about the last ever Hanworth Carnival Knockout which was held on July 02 2009 at the village hall, We had over 70 Scouts and Guides taking part and we also had a team from the Carnival Court,

The games were run by the Scout Leaders and we also had some help from the Explorer Scouts.

This Year was a first, we did not have any rain, this didnt stop the youngsters from getting wet with all the water games, everyone had a really good time and had plenty of fun which is what it is all about.

I would like to thank a few people for their help on the night, all the Leaders and Explorers for running the games, Jackie Westley for providing the refreshments, Mark Spiller for doing all the announcing, and I would like to thank the Carnival team for setting up the site not only for this Year but for every Year that we have run this event, and anyone else I have not already mentioned.

Now we get down to the results of the knockout,

 3^{rd place} 7^th Feltham Scouts ( TEAM B )

 2^{nd place} 1^st Hanworth Guides ( THRILLER )

And for the first time ever I think ( drum roll please )

1^st place goes to The Carnival Court Team ( THE HOLLANDS )

Unlucky for the Scouts and Guides, There was only ONE POINT between 1^st & 2^nd place and 2^nd & 3^rd place.

Well done to all who took part and we hope to see you next year?
